SEA Global has been responsible for the detailed design of the offshore raw gas pipelines from the subsea trees to the first dry weld onshore.
The work encompassed detailed engineering for two offshore pipelines, transient flow assurance modeling, and structural design for the PLEM. It also involved establishing functional requirements for onshore/offshore control networks, determining shore crossing pull-in and casing specifications, designing subsea tie-in spools and jumpers, compiling material datasheets, developing pre-commissioning frameworks, generating construction specifications for tendering, and contributing to capital cost estimates.

Scope of Work
Offshore Pipeline Design
Performed detailed engineering for the two offshore pipelines, covering installation analysis along with all mechanical design tasks.
PLEM Structure Design
Designed the PLEM structure including structural steel, piping and foundation requirements incorporating the findings of the flow assurance and operability assessment.
Umbilical and Control System
Developed the functional requirements of the Onshore/Offshore Controls equipment and instruments.
Construction Specifications
Prepared detailed specifications to facilitate major installation and construction tendering processes.
Pre-Commissioning Specification
Developed specification defining the scope, requirements, and methodology for pre-commissioning activities.
Shore Crossing Design
Defined pull-in requirements for the pipeline and umbilical, along with casing specifications for the shore crossing design (HDD initial concept replaced with Direct Pipe method).
Material Selection and Datasheets
Developed a comprehensive material selection report and datasheets for major pipeline system components, such as spools, jumpers, and the PLEM.
Tie-in Spools and Jumper Design
Provided design solutions for subsea connections between the pipelines, PLEM, and XT units.
CAPEX Support
Contributed to the development of capital cost estimates and investment planning for major project scopes.
Flow Assurance
Performed transient modelling to evaluate system performance, pressure behaviour, and operational limits.
