The Bacalhau field, one of Brazil’s largest deepwater developments, is located in the pre-salt Santos Basin offshore Brazil. SEA Global will support Equinor Brazil through a multi-year framework agreement, developing an integrated analytical digital twin of the entire subsea production system.
Our scope includes the application of automated engineering workflows and integrity assessments such as lateral buckling and pipeline walking evaluations, all calibrated to as-installed and operating survey data. SEA Global will also deliver system models and in-depth training to Equinor’s engineering team in Brazil.
“We are delighted to provide this support to Equinor Brazil as they commence operations of the challenging Bacalhau subsea production system, and we look forward to providing detailed insights into the overall system integrity performance,” says Adam Czajko, Director at SEA Global. “The development of the ICE Platform is a key competitive differentiator for SEA Global, enabling us to support operators worldwide from our head office in Perth, Western Australia.”
