SEA’s scope of work was the detailed design of the offshore pipeline and subsequent construction support, and retains an ongoing role supporting the pipeline’s operations after the project was successfully delivered on time, on budget and without incident. The Balticconnector Offshore Pipeline project is an example of SEA’s ability to use their in-house engineering automation technology to compete for global engineering projects from Perth, achieving export of local expertise despite challenging market conditions and international competition. SEA congratulates all other finalists in the awards program and looks forward to the awards ceremony in September.
