Construction Support Execution Australia

Sinagtala Project

Prime Energy is the operator of the Sinagtala project in the Philippines which is a deepwater tie-back to the existing Malampaya field. Gas and condensate from the reservoir are produced via subsea infrastructure and transported to the Shallow Water Platform (SWP) for processing. The condensate is exported by tanker, while the gas is delivered via pipeline to the mainland. SEA Global has provided FEED, Detailed Design engineering, procurement and construction support.

The Process

SEA Global provided front-end engineering design (FEED), detailed design engineering, procurement, and construction support for this deepwater tie-back system. The execution framework encompassed assessing seabed conditions to optimize routing, ensuring continuous flow assurance with corrosion-resistant alloy (CRA) material selection, and delivering complete mechanical and installation engineering strategies for complex subsea environments. The technical requirements also covered structural engineering for robust S-lay and J-lay configurations and diverless connection setups, designing flexible subsea jumpers and flying leads, and implementing systems for control umbilicals and replacement power cables. In addition, technical documentation, specifications, and scope definitions were supplied to facilitate procurement activities and contractor coordination.
